Pick up the marker in that color. (Pause.) Now, look at your paper. Do you see the heart with the number one in it? (Pause.) Great! Color the number one heart with that marker. (Pause.) Do you see any other places with the number one in them? Color all the places you see the number one. (Pause.) Put the lid back on that marker and put it down. (Continue with the other two colors.) Look how pretty your picture is! God made you, and you are so important to Him that God even knows the number of hairs on your head! Isn’t that amazing? You are important to God wherever you go. When you are at the playground, you are important to God. When you are at the dentist, you are important to God. When you’re asleep in your bed, you are important to God.
You are important to God, no matter where you are and no matter what you do. You are important to God if you are singing loudly, quietly reading a book, or patiently waiting at the end of the line. You are important to God, even if you’re doing nothing at all.
You are so important to God that He sent His Son, Jesus, to show us how to live and be our friend forever. I’m so glad we’re important to God and that He made each of us wonderful. Who made you wonderful? [Bottom Line] God made me wonderful.

Now you can use the crayons to color them. When Jesus heard the disciples tell the children to go away, He gently said ‘Let the little children come to me!’ Jesus let the children come right up front. "Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life.'" John 14:6, NIV
Bottom Line: Jesus can help me do everything.

- SAY: “Our Bible story today was about a Samaritan man who helped a hurt man. Let’s pretend this baby doll is hurt and needs our help. Here are some bandages. We can wrap the baby doll’s boo-boos like the Samaritan man did in our story. After the Samaritan man wrapped the hurt man’s boo-boos, he put the hurt man on his donkey. This can be our donkey. (Place basket in front of the children.) Look! It’s a donkey head. We can put the baby doll inside, like this. (Put the baby doll in the basket.) When I say your name, you can push the donkey. (Say each child’s name and let them push the donkey a little.) The Samaritan man took the hurt man to a place where he could rest and get all better. He even paid for it! Let’s take all of the bandages off the baby doll because the boo-boos are all better! Yay! (Repeat the activity if time and interest allow.) The Samaritan man in our story chose kindness and helped the hurt man. When Jesus is our friend forever, He can help us choose kindness, too. Jesus can help us do everything! So when I ask, ‘Who can help you do everything?’, I want you to say, [Bottom Line] ‘Jesus can help me do everything.’ Who can help you do everything? [Bottom Line] Jesus can help me do everything.
